Our 3 & 4-year-old full-time Kindergarten Program is designed and delivered by highly experienced, qualified, and passionate teachers and educators.
We make sure that your child is well-prepared for the transition to school life, both developmentally, physically and mentally. Our program focuses on fostering resilience, independence, respect, and responsibility, which are the fundamentals of early development. At Padua, we strive to instill a strong sense of self-esteem in children, which is essential for them to become successful and enthusiastic learners.
All children are responsible in caring for and nurturing their Kindergarten, developing and planting seeds for a life-long respect for the environment around them, for themselves and for others. Our unique program is equally based on child's interest and intentional teaching of topics. This scaffolds development back to the to the Department of Education’s Early Years Framework. It allows the aims and outcomes of the Early Years Framework to come to fruition for all children to achieve their individual potential.
We place a high value on our partnerships with local and independent schools. Our school readiness program is well-organised and effective, with communication as the cornerstone of collaboration between teachers and parents in determining the best course for our children.
Padua Kindergarten guides our students along their new steps into Kindergarten in an unhurried, calm and natural setting.
Research shows that play-based learning is a powerful way to support children’s development. These benefits last into the school years and beyond. We encourage curiosity and eagerness to learn through creative methods such as art, music and cooking. A ‘hands on’ range of real-life experiences, focusing in the second half of the year on skill building in readiness for kindergarten the following year.
Families with children born between January and April can choose which year to start Three-Year-Old kindergarten.
